Ol Boogerlips

Vern, I freaking love this pic! It's always been i of my all time favorites since I was a kid, and I rewatch it at to the lowest degree once every yr for Halloween. This is Ernest at his best, most cocky, most zany, and in my opinion, this is by far the nearly creative of the Ernest movies. Information technology feels like the filmmakers finally figured out how to maximize Jim Varney'southward physical movements. And there are lots of funny, frantic and artistic cut scenes to add to the story. Also, this movie scared me when I was a child! It'southward too bad this was the terminal Disney Ernest movie, because it felt they were simply figuring out how to capture all the Ernest potential. After this i the rest of the films were non connected to Disney and lose that magic.

To anyone who loves Ernest movies, keep the Ernest conversation and spirit alive, knowutimean?!

THE GREATEST EARNEST MOVIE KNOWN TO Man

Verified purchase

I accept watched this every halloween since I was a child. Gross trolls and hilarious Earnest? You lot can't trounce it. Funny and childlike plenty for your kids to enjoy - but enough adult humor that we aren't staring at the clock wondering when it will be over. Plus it has astonishing 90s vibes!

If you haven't seen it, rent it!

If this review helped you - please exit a thumbs-up!

(I was not paid or incentivized in any manner to requite this review. I purchased this product with my own hard-earned money!)

Good Halloween motion-picture show for the unabridged family unit. Underrated.

Rented this to watch with the kids for Halloween. They loved it as much as I did when I was their age. People make fun of Ernest just he was great entertainment for children. Scary plenty for a iii and vi yr old to pull the blanket over their head but light hearted enough to brand them enjoy information technology. I have to acknowledge that some parts are still funny to me after 30 years. Great movie for Halloween. If you have kids you won't regret renting it. Happy Halloween.

Ernest Scared Stupid on Blu-ray

Verified purchase

If you want Ernest Scared Stupid in Blu-ray, this is your only option. I would say it does look better than the DVD. So that is cool. All the same, there is absolutely no special features any. The picture just starts playing. When it ends it goes to a carte that has a moving picture & an icon that says play. Play is quite literally your only pick. I do dearest this movie. I have been looking for this on Blu-ray for a long time. So I was happy to receive it & watched information technology immediately.

Classic Ernest!

Although this flick is "family unit friendly" Trantor has nearly ruined my childhood! I HATED that troll and he scared the sh*t out of me growing up. Afterward virtually a decade of not watching this movie I recently decided to sentry it again, but this time with my children. They liked the movie and weren't even phased by the troll - but grossed out by his snots all over his face 😷
RIP Jim Varney

Nostalgia to pass downwardly to the next generation

Verified purchase

As someone who watched this every bit a kid (I'thousand 32 now), I decided information technology was finally time to pass the cadet and make my v twelvemonth one-time son watch it as well. He loved it. Only the right amount of funny and scary to appeal to him. There are a few wearisome parts or 'grown upwardly' parts that needed a petty explaining, but nigh of it was on his level. We rented the movie, but nosotros may have to purchase it considering he liked information technology so much.

A less than brilliant hero who tries really hard!

Verified buy

This is a silly motion-picture show nigh a guy who tries to be a creative inventor, merely he doesn't quite get information technology correct. Yet some of his best friends are kids because he is honest and fun. When a troll is capturing kids in town Ernest is the one who listens & tries to come to the rescue w/his dog.
